Institutional bodies
Each committee operates under defined terms of reference and reports to the Director.
Runs the online Grievance Redressal System — an online platform to receive and act on complaints reported by students, enabling prompt action on any issue raised and quicker access to services. The portal connects students and action-takers directly, so grievances are pursued quickly while staying easy and affordable to use.
Constituted as per the guidelines of the Hon'ble Supreme Court and Section 4 of the AICTE Regulations 2016 (gender sensitisation, prevention and prohibition of sexual harassment of women employees and students, and redressal of grievances in technical institutions). The ICC works to prevent sexual harassment of women at the workplace, promotes awareness through educational initiatives, provides a neutral and confidential environment for anyone who may have been harassed, and ensures fair and timely resolution of complaints.
Develops a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution — framing quality policy, monitoring implementation of academic and administrative activities, supporting the teaching-learning goals in the institutional strategic plan, and ensuring maximum utilisation of infrastructure and ICT resources.
Established under the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (No. 33 of 1989) and in compliance with AICTE regulations — to create and maintain a safe, healthy and supportive environment for SC/ST staff and students on campus, address their concerns and prevent atrocities against them.
