SAITM operates a structured Faculty Appraisal System to evaluate and enhance the performance of its teaching staff. The appraisal considers teaching effectiveness, student feedback, research and publications, participation in institutional activities, and professional development.
The process is aligned with the Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) and Academic Performance Indicators (API) framework, as prescribed by regulatory bodies. Each faculty member submits a self-appraisal, which is reviewed by the department and the appraisal committee.
Outcomes of the appraisal inform faculty development plans, recognition and career advancement decisions. The system is designed to be objective, transparent and growth-oriented.
